AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN

Riverfront Audio Visual, an event technologies services company, is seeking a highly organized Audio Visual Technician for its Wilmington , DE office. Preferred applicant will possess 4-5 years technical experience, and knowledge of audio visual industry including projection technology; lighting; staging; webstreaming; telecommunications; PC's; networks; audio visual systems; and video teleconferencing systems is helpful. This candidate will be a motivated self-starter, ready to hit the ground running. Serious applicants only, please.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TECHNICIAN:

• Work closely with VP of Operations in organizing and executing current and new business throughout the tri-state area.
• The successful candidate knows and fully understands the AV business and what is expected by a premiere upscale meeting and events facility
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of our extensive menu of services.
• Meet client needs by responding to concerns, questions or problems via phone or scheduled meetings
• Must be extremely guest service oriented, have an outgoing personality and a great hospitality & service attitude, possess excellent personnel/staff management skills
• Must be professionally groomed and dressed (Company Shirts will be provided); and have strong verbal, writing, and communication skills with customers, venue staff, and employees.
• Must be willing to devote an average of 50 hours per week and able to work nights and weekends as necessary.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years of large scale audio visual sales & rental management as well as large scale production experience
• Computer proficiency required including MS Office and PowerPoint, with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Able to lift a minimum 25lbs
